José María Zalbidegoitia

Chairman

Currently, he is the Chairman of the board of directors in Talde Gestión and a board member at Tegor and AJL.

His early professional life was in the world of export credit insurance, international contracts and accounts auditing, in which he held the positions of Director of Trade Policy and Trade Deputy Minister of the Basque Government during the period between 1979 and 1983, on the boards of public companies.

In 1984 he rejoined CESCE, an export credit insurance company, as Regional Director of the Northern Region, sitting on various boards of financial and industrial entities.

He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country and a Master in the Upper Management Program from IESE.

Iñaki Alzaga

Vicepresident

Currently, he is a board member of Talde Gestión and P4Q

He is also Chairman of Compañía Multimedia del Norte, a position he has held for more than fifteen years, member of the Board of Directors of Euskaltel, where he previously held the position of Director of Strategy and Business Development for seven years, and non-executive Chairman of Nortegas.

He began his professional career at Price Waterhouse, where he worked for twelve years.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and is a Chartered Accountant Auditor and member of the ROAC.

Idoia Bengoa

Corporate Managing Director

Currently, she is a board member of Talde Gestión, Burdinberri, AIT, P4Q and Fire Piping.

Previously and for more than 14 years, she worked in BBVA's Industrial Group where she was responsible for investments in listed companies, unlisted companies and American Private Equity funds. During this stage she carried out the full cycle of investment operations from analysis, structuring and negotiation, divestment operations in listed and unlisted companies and private equity firms and managed a portfolio whilst a member of the governing bodies of several companies.

She began her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, where she worked for five years.

Idoia Bengoa has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto, has completed the Executive Development Programme for BBVA at IESE and she has obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros- Administradores.

Javier Urtasun

Member of the Board of Directors

Currently, he is a board member of Talde Gestión and Fire Piping.

Previously and for 34 years he developed his professional career at Lagun Aro, where he was initially Director of Fixed Income and International Equities and finally Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Sarriko and a Master (MSC) in Urban and Regional Economic Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Jon Arosa

Director Private Equity

Currently, he is a board member in Talde Gestión , Burdinberri, Tegor, P4Q and Bemed-Jemed.

Previously he worked for five years in the EBN group in Madrid (a financial group comprising five savings banks), as an analyst in the Corporate Finance Department and as a fund manager in the area of Private Equity.

He has a degree in Economic Law from the University of Deusto, an MBA from the Carlos III University of Madrid, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from the Chamber of Commerce of Guipúzcoa and he has obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros- Administradores.

Marc Baiget

Director Private Equity

Currently, he is a board member in Talde Gestión, Ñaming, AIT, Fire Piping and AVS.

His early career was at KPMG Corporate Finance in Barcelona and Madrid, where he accumulated over 10 years of experience in advising on national and cross-border M&A processes, development of business plans, investment analysis, business valuation and assisting in debt restructuring processes.

He began his career at Ernst & Young, where he spent two years in the Auditing Department.

He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto. Additionally, he has completed several international courses on company valuation and assistance in merger and acquisition processes. He also obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros- Administradores

Beatriz del Val

Director Private Debt

Beatriz started her professional career at BBVA, in the Leveraged Finance department, where she worked for five years in acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions. She was part of the European Loans department at Banco Santander, combining the activity of Syndicated Loans and the participation in LBOs for clients in Europe. Subsequently, she worked for more than 10 years in other international financial institutions in Investment Banking (Structured Finance) and Corporate Banking. 

Prior to her incorporation in Talde, Beatriz was responsible for the Bond Origination division of Debt Capital Markets at PKF Attest. 

Beatriz holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Deusto Business School and she is Financial Advisor by CECABANK.

Esteban Fradua

Investment Manager

Prior to joining Talde, and for a period of three years, he was an Investment Executive at Corpfin Capital where he participated in several corporate acquisitions, management of portfolio companies and investor relations co-ordination.

He previously worked as an associate in the Corporate Finance division of KPMG where he performed valuations of companies in several mergers and acquisitions.

He began his career as an analyst in the corporate development department of Gamesa.

He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and an MBA from the same university. Additionally, he has completed the Higher Program in Structured Finance and Private Equity at the IE Business School and he has received the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros-Administradores.

Asís Malda

Investment manager

He has developed his career at Banco Santander. Throughout 14 years he has been assigned to different divisions in London, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, and Paris. His last position as Credit Manager for the Corporate & Investment Banking division in Paris.

He has extensive experience in collateral management, strategy, corporate deals, structured finance, and debt restructuring.

He holds a degree in Economics from the University of the Basque Country, an MBA from INSEAD, and he is both a CFA and CAIA charterholder. He is currently studying a MS in Industrial Engineering at the Penn State University.

Aurkene Ziluaga

Investment Analyst

She previously worked in the Investment Funds Department of Banco Banif.

She has a degree in Economic and Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country, a master´s degree in the Stock Exchange from the Institute of Options & Futures, besides having qualifications from the EFPA (European Financial Planning Association) and she has obtained the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Instituto de Consejeros- Administradores.

Irene Gutiérrez

Investment Analyst

Previously, she worked as an analyst at Najeti Capital where she analysed investments and monitored the investee portfolio, developing financial reporting and analysing their economic and financial situations.

She began her career in the Financial Services area at Accenture where she participated in several design and implementation projects.

She has an Engineering degree in Industrial Organization from Comillas Pontifical University and a MBA from the same university. Additionally, she completed the Higher Program in Structured Finance and Private Equity at the IE Business School and received the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the the Instituto de Consejeros- Administradores.

Jon Ander Campos

Investment Analyst

Previously, he worked as an M&A Analyst at Abertis Infraestructuras, DC Advisory and BBVA. He has performed investment analyses and has also monitored Abertis’ various business units across Europe and Latam. Additionally, he has advised companies on M&A, business valuation, business modelling and due diligence processes in different sectors such as real estate, industrial and financial institutions.

Jon Ander holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) where he was sponsored to study abroad at University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).

Diego Uriarte

Investment Analyst

He started his professional career at RS Corporate Finance, M&A boutique focused on the energy sector, where he participated in different transactions from both the buy side and the sell side. Subsequently, he worked in consulting for financial institutions, in capital allocation projects, supporting in the budgeting for internal investments and in the analysis and execution of efficiency and optimization initiatives.

He holds a dual degree in Business Management Administration + Industrial Engineering from Deusto Business School and a masters degree in Business Consulting from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE).

Laura Salcedo

Financial Director

Since then, she has developed her career in Talde. Initially, and for a period of four years, she was in the Investment analysis area, involved in preparing investment proposals, business valuation and control and monitoring of portfolio companies. Subsequently, and for four years, she has been in the financial department where she is responsible for Reporting and assisting in the coordination of tax and legal issues until assuming the position of Financial Director.

She has a degree in Economic and Business Administration from the University of the Basque Country.

Begoña López

Deputy Financial Director

She began her professional career at Mazars Auditores SLP in 2004, where se developed her professional career as an Accounts Auditor for almost 10 years, auditing companies of different sectors and sizes. In addition, she participates in different Due Diligences and Bank Refinancing operations.

Later, in 2015, he joined as an Financial and Administration Manager in a company from Bizkaia specialized in the metal sector.

She has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of the Basque Country, a Postgraduate in Taxation Specialist from the University of the Basque Country and a Master´s Degree in Human Resources Management from the Camilo José Cela University
