On 12th November, Ñaming closed the agreement in which it acquired 100% of the Sansala share capital.
Due to the high quality of its products and the development of innovative recipes, Sansala is a benchmark in the national market of premium sandwiches, wraps and salads. Founded by Maria del Carmen Lede C. and Philip Hutchison 23 years ago, its production facilities are certified by IFS Food. Based in Madrid, their daily production is mainly distributed through horeca and retail channels.
The founders of Sansala will be integrated into the management team of Ñaming and will continue directing Sansala's operations, where their extensive knowledge and experience of the products will be critical in the next stage of the companies’ development.
In this operation, Ñaming enhances its position in the Casual Food value market where Freshness, Quality and Health are becoming increasingly relevant among consumers of convenience products and are a firm commitment to the customers and channels with whom Ñaming collaborates.
Ñaming is expanding its presence in the strategic market of Madrid through Sansala’s existing facilities. Furthermore, Sansala will gain the support of the commercial network and Ñaming's company logistics.
Founded over 30 years ago, Ñaming is the leading company in the sandwich market in Spain with a market share of more than 40%. Owned by Talde Private Equity and Jorge Miranda, a member of the founding family, it directly employs 200 people and has facilities in Mallen (Zaragoza). Certified by IFS Food, it daily produces more than 130,000 units, distributed throughout Spain, France and Portugal. It has its own logistics distribution network in the main Spanish cities, a key element in the delivery of its fresh products.
